I can't see the R32 being 24k because aren't they normally fully loaded ? For example, when I did the order for a mk5 GTI on whichever website it was (cant remember now) and I played about with the colours, DSG and trim etc I think it came out at something like 27.5k !  :shocked: So if the R32 is 24k then it's cheap in comparison and I know which I'd rather have too.

so you are paying 3750 for 4wd, an extra 50bhp and those 18's. the rest of the spec is pretty much mk5 gti. pricing seems about right to me :)

I know mate ! But I was talking about the VW website that was out last year so you could pre-order the GTi with all the trim and specs etc to see what the price came to. :rolleyes:

Includes xenons and rain sensitive wipers too.

I think its bloody good value for money.

Does make the std GTi look a little pricey, but remember, these VW's have the best residuals going, so on first impression they seem expensive when compared to, say, the VXR astra, but in three years and 50k miles, its predicted to be worth £3-4k more - total cost of ownership is actually lower.
