Is the new R32 too cheap?
« on: 24 September 2005, 17:40 »
Hey guys do you think VW have maybe shot themselves in the foot with the new R32 being £23,750.
Whats a new GTI say with leather, around 21 ish

Have they made the price too close to to the new GTI?
Given the choice I know which one i'd rather have!

I can't see the R32 being 24k because aren't they normally fully loaded ? For example, when I did the order for a mk5 GTI on whichever website it was (cant remember now) and I played about with the colours, DSG and trim etc I think it came out at something like 27.5k !  So if the R32 is 24k then it's cheap in comparison and I know which I'd rather have too.
......now officially dubless.

GTi should be around £18500/19000 max imo.

R32 is just about right. although Golfs are the best cars ever made anything over £23k is ridiculous to pay for a Golf imo.
