My new year you could probably pick up a GTI PP up for under £20k with factory warrant intact

R32 might be overrated to some, but personally I'm not interested in pushing up power of cars. If I want power I buy a car with more.

The R32 just makes me smile whenever I get in it - a whoosh on the throttle and the resulting song is always sure to pull up the corners of my mouth  :grin:

Test drive in a mk6 R and a mk7 GTI booked for Sunday. Stilll no idea which way to go :cry:  (1st world problems hey  :grin:)

think it the 6R's are too old to justify their price now, I suspect that a tuned and well specced 6GTI cant be far off the 6R, I'd go for the 7.
