Mature VW enthusiast, I had a couple of MK2s over the last couple of years and I'm currently restoring a black 8v GTI, I'm a qualified ex-mechanic who enjoys working on cars in my spare time, my current project is nearly ready for the paint shop and l will post some pictures of the work I have done to date.
Current ride is a silver MK4 GTI Turbo with a R-Tech remap (1) mechanically sound, recently rebuilt the drivers recaro as it had a torn / worn bolster, next job clutch upgrade.
Looking forward to showing off my MK2 next year at one of the VW meets somewhere.
