When the car starts up from cold she pops crackles and sounds lovley when warm i get nothinv not even at rev limiter. I tried a 4 bar fbr did nothing. Any other suggestions as ive heard aums that crackle and pop. Am i missing something

Get it mapped again with anti lag

Honestly though I feel your pain, I have a 2.5 inch system back from my ko4 Mk3 with relentless V4 and Sports CAT, its non res system and to be honest there isnt really any exhaust noise or not as much as i'd like! :/ Turbo spool sounds great though

If you google 1.8t with 3inch system though, Oh my do they start to sound nice and cracks and pops are achieved (regulary)

What cat do you have?

I get the occasional, but very satisfying, pop on over run  or sudden shut off of the throttle on my AUM
- bought it with a stage 1 one revo remap, but have added a Milltek downpipe, sport cat and 2.5 resonated system

Younwill need to de-cat it. Reasons like this is why i love my R32 :)

Get a sports cat, 99% sure theres hardly any difference performance and power but piece of mind should the police pull you and let's be honest popping and banging cars get pulled more lol
I have a 200 cell sports cat and mine still pops on overrun
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

I have an AUM with no lift shift mapped in, which - when used sounds like what you're after. It's less crack and pop, but more like gunfire
