Oops having a dim moment.  Although I had not translated the website as was in a rush.  Will have another look.  The reason I said about the seats was on my configurator the seats image was the standard seats without touching any settings?  Bit odd.  Will have another look.

There's a pack or a particular option that removes them when selected.
Can't remember which though.

You can have standard seats for free, gawd knows why though....

Dave
Was looking at some German forums this morning and it seems that if you select bucket seats some options , such as keyless entry/start, cannot be selected...... Due to the fact that with bucket seats you can't have the central armrest and apparently that option was wired from there....

Seat questions...

Are they height adjustable, or fixed?

also from what I can see, you can't have ambient lighting if taking the buckets? And that means no red strips on door tops and tread plates?

No red lighting strips?

That on it's own is enough to put me off buying one! :)

Yeah shame, cos I really like the red door top strips too.

But that's what I can make out anyway.

Also odd is, if you have the leather option standard seats (which are quite nice actually) you get illuminated tread strips with GTI logo, but if going cloth, you don't?

Order books open February 1st in Austria, so maybe we will get the same date here.

It should be soon as they are only running it, from what I can make out until the light facelift comes out for MY17 cars anyway?

Still some odd parts on spec, such as red strips on front seat belts only among those stated above.

Seems some delays on the 18" forged (standard wheels too) to calendar weeks 18-21, where as 19" wheels from week 12 for the German ordered cars.

I really think they tried the best to shoe horn these wider bucket seats in, just to make it different buts it seems to take a lot of options out, which are nice to have as standard.

I guess like the ED35, we may not get the Alacantara option of standard seats in UK and just leather or buckets?

Lets wait and see....

PS, no front parking sensors either due to bumper shape and mouldings it seems.

I guess we will still get ACC in UK as standard so you may not hit anything

It would be strange. I've never know a golf to get a end of life facelift. Its usually runs straight into the next model...

MK7 GTI - Deep Pearl Black - Standard Spec - Ordered 10/12/2015.
