Ran in to the salesman on Tuesday who sold me my gtd. He was due to call me yesterday but advised that specs will be out second week of Jan and he will get me in to finalise my order of the club sport. Depending on price I will make the move as my three years are up in sept.
Golf GTD mk7 DSG pearl black - collected 25 September 2013.

Did not mean this was the only reason to buy DSG as I have wondered what it would be like to drive a golf with DSG myself.  But just found it odd for the video review to state all the power of 286hp was available to the DSG launch control but not manual until gears 3 to 6 ?

I know there are many reasons to have DSG and as I state earlier I have even thought about trying it myself.  I also understand Launch Control is hardly used if ever.  It is just simply the comment made on the video baffles me a bit if DSG has the power on lower gears before it's available on Manual you would have though the 0-60 times may be faster for the DSG?

Seat info is up on ETOS, its the only bit I could easily find as they stand out a mile.  I guess the front splitter is available somewhere

this review seems to be based on a road test rather than the recent track launch in Portugal

From what I can make out, production starts from week 10.

And a lot of discussion if the cars are made after mid year being MY17, but it seems they won't be, so maybe a very limited sales window for them, but could mean dealers put I stock orders, so bargins to be had?

Who knows

I was also just posting about the gearbox..

When you get to the options section, there is a 4 door option for €900 extra.

They are taking the "clubsport" name in vain now!
