I am interested to see the options I can configure it with, and the price?  However for not a lot more you can get an R.  I am hoping they also show the R400 at Frankfurt to see if there are anymore bits of info on whether it will see the light of day and how much it will cost.  If the rumors are true and it has been delayed until 2017, assuming it does make it to production I could save up enough money to probably afford it as long as the price is not too ridiculous.  However getting back to the Clubsport GTI it is tempting but seeing as I already own an Oryx White GTI with a high spec, there is something niggling at the back of my head that there is not enough difference to part with the money and go for it.  Guess I will wait and see what it's like once officially released at Frankfurt before making my mind up.

Limited or anniversary edition always equal win when it comes to residuals

Clubsport will be a hoot and the interior will feel special, i could see me hooning one of these around on a track day more than a R400

Reading the press release it will be available in other colours may be red for me.

It's worth the change for me considering 3 years are up by the time this comes about. More and more I look at the rims the more I think

Would like to see one in the 5 door guise. Also this one doesn't appear to have the ACC sensor in the front bumper

Liking this a lot.

I'm liking that fact that you actually remembered to include the photos this time round!
Oh, and you got it in the right section too. You could get good at this...

Wonder what bhp it'll actually put out - the Leon Cupra has recently been upgraded to 290 from 280 (but most likely both tunes are really 300 the same as the Golf R).

Certainly very interesting and a lot more unique than the ED35.
Lots of special bits on it by the sounds of it but I wonder if the bucket seats will be optional.
Wonder if it'll be three door only too being as it's a Clubsport rather than an 'Edition'.
Hopefully that standard 18's will look a lot nicer than those 19's.

Things I particularly like - the interior for sure. Maybe a bit overkill but very very nice and very exclusive.
I like the return of the side stripe.

Things I don't really like - the front bumper looks a bit awkward in all the pics I;ve seen. Hopefully it'll look better in the flesh.
Shame they didn't use the oval tailpipes from the Cupra.

As wigit says, it'll hold its value well for sure with all those little features and will be quite an exclusive car.
The R has become far from exclusive (great car that it is). I had to pop down to a hire car company this afternoon and noticed the staff were taking a great interest in mine (thankfully it was clean). They thought at first it was one of theirs as they've just either ordered or about to take delivery of 21 R's according to the manager I was chatting to.

If its a pre production mule then it wont have the acc sensor. None of the first demo 7's over here had acc sensors either but the production ones did. I'd be amazed if it didnt have it all.
TCR, Pure Grey, DCC, Dynaudio and Climate Screen.
