mk3 golf gti 16v cutting out when warm

Hi folks. Iv got a really annoying problem with my abf 16v. It cuts out when warm. But will start straight back up again once it's cut out but will only run for a few moments until its cooled down. Then it will run fine until its back upto temperature. Also the fans do not kick in. Now before I put it on the road I did a full service. I will list what iv changed. But I'm really out of ideas and its been doing it for the last month. So far iv changed.

Coil
Ht leads
Dizzy cap
Rotor arm
Spark plugs
Cleaned throttle body
Oil
Oil filter
Fuel filter
Air filter
Ecu relay
Temp ecu sensor
Rad temp sensor
Fuel pump relay
Replaced all vac pipes.
Any information would be really appreciated. It's driving me up the wall.

Oxygen sensor maybe, as they only come in to play once above a certain temperature. Try disconnecting it via the connector mounted on top of the rear engine mount and see if it makes a difference.

First thing I would do is get it scanned for any errors.

Ok cheers. Will try oxygen sensor tomorrow and let you know. No fault codes are showing. Was thinking of sending ecu off to get looked at.

Another shout for crank sensor -probably because it seems you have replaced everything else.

Have a look at the engine loom going to your TPS, its routed just above the exhaust manifold, wiring insulation gets crispy and drops off -this can cause all sorts of intermittent problems. just need to cut out the bad bits and solder in new cable.
