Does anyone know where I can get one from, also do you have a rough idea of what it will cost me?

It depends which radio model you after. I got my RCD310 firmware update from http://www.my-gti.com/?s=firmware&submit.x=0&submit.y=0 a few years ago.

Get the part numbers, hardware and software versions for your RNS and gateway (VCDS is OK for that).
I am asking because not all can be upgraded (flashed)......


You can upload firmware with VCP (which I have in addition to VCDS). There are plenty of VCDS user lists but don't know of one for VCP.
