ive just been informed by my insurance company that if i went ahead and changed the TIP/BOOST PIPES/WATER LINES to silicone ones on the MK5 ive been looking at it would nullify my insurance - problem is ive already done it to my current MK 4 and didnt tell em
mainly because i dont class them as performance upgrades- its no different to changing engine oil from Tesco cheap sh!te to premium VW semi synthetic in my opinion, its a engine protection move, pre-empting the old rubber hoses perissing.
any way, does anyone know of a company that has no problem with my simple improvements, im not the only one ever to have done this or am i just being to bloody honest- im just not daft enough to realise that in the event i have a prang the insurance people arent out looking for the slightest reason NOT to pay out
if this should be in the insurance section im sorry but i need to get this sorted pronto so thought it might get more attention in here
