Genuine Golf Mk2 Headlining reproduction

Hello Everyone, Testing the water here as I'm in the process of reproducing a genuine reproduction of the original headlining in a strong rigid product moulded identical covered in the original reproduced fabric please register your interest below please state 3 or 5 door and with or without sunroof. this product will not break into pieces like the original foam lining. depending on numbers I'm hoping to be within £200-£250 +p&p

I would have been interested around a year ago but I managed to fix the original. However, sounds like a good idea having a 'hardened' version as the original is pretty pants. Maybe you should get in touch with some of the bigger players, vwheritage, volksbits, see if they'll stock your product. Certainly gets my vote! Good luck!

I would definitely be interested if you can reproduce as original. I'm sure there would be a huge interest if you advertise this, VW heritage I'm sure would be keen. Have you started manufacturing yet ?

Just bought a Golf GTI with saggy headliner - so I'm definitely interested. Price is in right ballpark too imho.

3 door with sunroof for me please. 😀

I really don't relish trawling breakers yards for second hand ones and, if I did manage to find a decent one, then trying to transport back home what is essentially a large crisp! I just know it will end in tears  :laugh:
