Good morning ladies and gents. The last few days I have been keeping tabs on how many performance golfs I see on my travels around the east and north Norfolk area, but from reading threads on here it seems to vary massively depending on where in the country you live.

So this week I have seen 16 GTDs 1 GTI and 0 R (excluding mine)

Now I know for a lot of people the R is a common sight. Which I find amazing, because in the 3 months I have owned it I have probably seen one 3-4 times in total. Which is the same frequency I see GTIs. GTDs on the other other hand are everywhere!

Also I have only seen 1 GTE since its release

In and around Leeds city centre the R is a pretty common site in the past few days I must of seen at least 20 and one of which was on fire! Gtd's and Gti's are lot less common site around here.

Not such a common sight where I live.

GTD's are the most common but even then only seen about half dozen different ones. Maybe 4 GTI's and only 3 R's (though soon to be 4!).  Coincidentally, over in vwroc, an R owner in Canterbury has just made contact, so will be looking out for him when I'm out and about.

Not yet, but it's coming.  Being built wc 7/9 so should be arrive early Oct, all being well.  It's been a hell of a long wait!

I sometimes see a white R around Wroxham way- it's always driving dead slow!

I've only seen one GTI, a smattering of GTDs and a couple of Rs but they could well have been the same car. Having said that I have only been interested enough to take notice recently but even so, very few about. I shall be upping the tally by 1 from Saturday though!

Within half a mile of my house i have seen around 5 GTD's 3 GTI's & 4 R's

One of the GTI's is about 3 doors away same colour as my car but the guy's nephew prefers my GTD

See loads of GTDs, a couple of GTIs and a few Rs. Probably see more Rs than GTIs to be honest.

GTDs are obviously the most common because they're the best ;-)
