Don't you just hold in the power button for a few seconds?

Yes hold the power button down until the screen turns off (from memory 5-10 seconds). The unit will the do a cold reboot.

Thank you, also looking for any hidden menu?  People keep saying you should be able to see how many satellites your locked on to or signal strengh, however I think this maybe on earlier systems unless it is really really hidden

I looked and I can't find it on my NavPro... i even tried reading the manual :)

Its probably in one of the hidden diag menus...

Yes maybe, however you can see all sat nav gps info via VCDS, just been playing in my lunch hour   I had 26 locked on while parked which out of 31 orbiting is a very good score!  Will run the data logging on the way home and see what happens.  VCDS even gives you your current position in Lat & Long

Nav Pro tells you your latitude and longitude. When on your nav screen press the map button so the box shows up on the left of the map. You can choose different options within that and I'm sure satellites and lat and long position are within that.
TCR, Pure Grey, DCC, Dynaudio and Climate Screen.

indeed they are!  you need to push the Nav button and then select from the drop down

Many thanks for the pointer

And did that tell you anything about satellite visibility?
