Bi-Xenons

How many of you know that over time these lights grow dimmer from the build up of a coating within the lens. I had this come up with my Audi and literally you couldn't tell if the headlights were on when on a lit road. Further investigation via VAG resulted in them saying there was no recorded problem. Contacting VOSA (the people in charge of MOT's) said they were aware of the problem and you could fail an MOT if the problem was severe. I declined giving Audi 2000 pounds to change both headlights and did the internal cleaning myself at a cost of a few pounds and headlight re-adjustment cost. It was like night and day the transformation and recommend anyone with these lights to take a good look at theirs. It will be something on my list to check if ever I find a good edition30 to buy!
