Camera ? Help pls

Help pls,

I don't have lane assist but appear to have the camera as per the photo, I presume the small square on the back of the mirror is for the high bean assist.  The big camera below the mirror is for lane assist?  Is this a correct assumption?

Not quite. The square at the bottom is the main beam assist camera, and the louvre's above it are just ventilation slots. The square on the back of the mirror itself is the sensor for auto dimming of the rear view mirror (all GTI, GTD and R's have this).

Obviously the big black blob stuck to the windscreen is the light and rain sensor. Unfortunately sir, like me, you don't have the lane assist camera. That unit is combined in with the light and rain sensor and is one large attachment fitted directly to the windscreen.

Thank you for your prompt reply and confirmation, the reason for asking is that my windscreen has just gone so I was asked as to whether I have a fitted camera.  I knew I didn't have lane assist but was unsure as to what kind of camera they were referring to
