Golf R price as tested £41k!! Is that a typo?
I've still not read the article but I can well believe a press fleet car could easily get to that figure.
The basic three door has gone up about a grand in just over 12 months.
Add DSG & two more doors and another two grand has been eaten up.
19" wheels and Oryx white adds nearly another £2k
Nav and sound system plus a few electronic extras sees another £2k gone...
It soon mounts up.
