Thanks for all the input.

The whole problem was it showed no codes when it was in the garage.

Anyway, it may be easier to diagnose now. I put in a new relay. It cut out as soon as it warmed up, never done that before, and wont start at all now.

Crank sensor,dodgy ignition switch,dodgy coil pack are my top 3.

and the winner is ,clap now ,DODGY COIL PACK da da daaaaah
