Indicator lane change

After messing about trying to get my rear door to open my indicator now stays on for about 7 or 8 clicks rather than 2 or 3. How has this happened ? I tried unlocking the doors about 40times any ideas ? Can it be changed with vag.com ?

I would have thought you should be able to get it back through the DIS.  In the DIS menu go to Lights and Vision - Lane ch. flash, and make sure it's ticked.  If it's ticked it will activate the indicators to blink 3 times if you just nudge the stalk up or down, (as opposed to fully engaging the indicator stalk where it blinks till you disengage it or the steering does).  Bit weird though as if mine is left unticked it only blinks once, not 6-7 times as with yours!

I reset the car back to factory in the menu in the dials and it's back to normal ! Thanks
