I am pondering going to drive a Cayman at the weekend actually as the base model, with manual box is supposed to be a sweet car and comes in at about the same price..

The interior of the GT86 is dreadful though. Cheap plastics throughout.

Think I would rather just stick with my Fiat Coupe tbh, owes me nothing and is quicker than 90% of cars on the road today + sounds better !

Much as I love the RS3, and the fact its an 8 month wait quite suits me... I am really struggling to justify it at that price, and £10k more than an S3.. especially with the mileage I would do..  But then the S3 is also quite expensive for what it is...

The more I think about it the more the 330d is the sensible choice as a daily driver with the discounts available and the spec and performance you can get.  Waiting to see what my local BMW dealer comes back with today...

That's stunning Drisser. My Dad very nearly bought an LE when they were new but bottled it at the last moment. A friend's Dad has one in this exact colour, a one owner car since new. I drive past his house occasionally and it's sat at the back of the garden covered in moss with a space saver on. I'd love to take it off his hands one day.
MK7 GTI 3-Door DSG, Tornado Red, Discover Nav, Winter Pack, ACC, Keyless Go, Reversing Camera, Service Pack... Ordered 28th Oct... Collected 1st March!

I bought this one about 5 years ago and just use it in the spring & summer..

Its only done 69k miles from new, totally original, even came with the press release and brochure and a huge wad of paperwork.. don't ever want to sell it to be honest..  I owned one of these back in 1998 when they first came out, I worked for a company who were part of Fiat so we could get them at a discount.  The performance back then was simply out of this world for the £ - it was close to Ferrari 348 / Honda NSX level.

Lavished a fair bit of money on it so far mostly mechanically, wheels refurbed etc.  It now needs a bit of bodywork attention to get it into tip top shape but it still turns heads on the road even these days.. Not many good ones left really, plenty chavved up versions lying in scrap yards..
