Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

2 for me. A 55' MK5 GTI Manual. Basic car with no options but I loved it. Now a MK7 GTI DSG with a few toys. Love this one too but I fear with the need for a bigger car it may well be the last unfortunately.

Mk 4 GTI - Navy Blue
Mk 4 GTI - Jazz Blue
Mk 4 GTI - Navy Blue (another!)
Mk 4 V5 - Silver
Mk 5 GTI - Tornado Red
Mk 6 GTI - DBP
Mk 7 GTI - Tornado Red
Mk 7 R - Lapiz Blue

All within the last 10 years, and only VW's.  No wonder I never have any money  :laugh:

My 21 years of various golfs are

83 mk1 gti (campaign)in silver

90 mk2 gti (big bumper model (red)

95 mk3 gti (which for me was rubbish) red

94 mk3 vr6 ( great engine crap handling) Indian red

01 mk4 4motion ( with recaro leathers) silver

05 mk5 gti dsg ( excellent car kept it for 7years) red

14 plate mk7 gti pp dsg ( great car ,but ruined by lack of traction which caused a massive warranty claim) red

15 plate mk7 R ( very hard to fault this car , except for having drive at stupid speeds to get any sort of excitement) black.
