Main dealer will charge you a hell of a lot if they will/can do it.
Find a local vw mapping company, ring them up, ask them if they have standard vw map for your vehicle and if they will install it for you. You will have to pay a fee, but for something straight forward, a simple upload, it should be a lot cheaper than going main dealer.
There's plenty of mapping companies around and most of them should have standard maps. If your midlands based, try R-Tech in Hinckley.
Otherwise, maybe you could do it with someone elses Bluefin with the stock map kept on the device. Just upload the map to your vehicle yourself. You might be able to get one of ebay or try ringing bluefin, see what solution they may have for you.
