Build Week Confirmed and Hire Car Arrived

finally having ordered my GTI PP I have a confirmed build for week commencing 20th July, so hopefully get delivery on or around end of August - maybe delay to get the new reg if it's a week or two.

After much pushing given the est delivery was start of June (yeah right!) have managed to get VW UK to deliver a hire car until the new one arrives. Audi A4 S Line which is pretty nice, although can't wait to get the GTI PP now.

Neither the dealer nor VW UK will confirm whether the car will have the satnav, keyless and winter pack none of which I specced (mine has PP, Dynamic Chassis, Pearl Black, Dynaudio, Climate Windscreen, and Telephone Upgrade thing) hope it does, will be good compensation for the wait

Result.
Not sure why it wouldn't have the satnav, keyless and winter pack unless it was built before week 22 which obviously it wasn't.

Why a new thread? Would it not be better at http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=274582.msg2511392#msg2511392 so others can see a solution to your problem?   :whistle:

Maybe the parts for the car are allocated somewhere and it was meant to be a pre BW22 car, so it hasn't got the new bits allocated to it?

Have to say think the communication has been pretty woeful during the whole process, good job they make great cars otherwise they'd lose customers all over
