rear axle problem help

Recently brought a mk4 golf gti 1.8 turbo and the rear wheels seem to be closer to the rear of the arches than the front anybody know the problem???...

Yeah it seems like it mate I'd upload a pic but I don't know how haha and the car still drives spot on no movement or twitching

They end up closer to the front of the arches when you lower them so I doubt that's the problem.

That's definitely not lowered. It's probably the big wheels at standard height which make it look a bit strange. I forget how stupidly high the Mk4 is standard :grin:

Ohh right just dosent seem to look right to me the wheels also look cambered slightly

My guess would be that the mud guard makes it look like its closer to the rear arch than it actually is. As for the camber, with the car parked on a flat surface, post a picture from behind the car which shows the wheel.
