I'm so sad.I watched a video on Youtube of the Wolfsburg manufacturing process for the Golf. All those robots, almost military precision!.
Then the massive trainloads of them trundling out of the factory.
Do all UK bound GTI's/GTD's come from Wolfsburg?.I know there's another factory in the former East Germany.
Current: Golf GTD MK7  3 door manual carbon grey.

Good to know it's coming from it's spiritual homeland.I sometimes have my doubts about VW's made outside of Germany.

I would forget those doubts. My 2 Portuguese built Sciroccos were by far the most reliable VWs I have owned - one required no warranty work and the other had minor DCC related issues (sensor replacement).
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

I've watched the build process on Youtube too. Awesome precision. Might try to take it back to Wolfsburg on a blast through France and Germany next year
