MK4 gti battery reposition??

Hi all, i want to move my battery to the boot to free up space in the engine bay for a better cold air feed, has anyone done this? any advice?

You'll just need to make sure it's in a suitable box and secured well, then it's just a case of running the cables through

As wazzer said really, precautions you want to take include: using thick cables, 0 gauge where possible, good connections and if you're not using a racing battery then vent it. I just used a bit of hose connected to one of the two outlets at the top of the battery to vent outside the car.
