V6 Mk8 Golf would be very nice but may go down the old mans car route and get a Jaguar XE R Sport

Had an XE S yesterday for the day and it was agreat car, certainly as good as the 3 series, nice supercharger sound and exhaust note but has made me realise how much I'm going to miss the M4 so it's put doubt in my mind now about the R!

Very nice

Did my daily commute in it and it returned 40-41 mpg which was impressive, on the way home however 19 mpg

That Jag XE 3.0 V6 is a fabulous car, the interior is magnificant (sat in one on Saturday) - a massive step up over the Golf.  And it's a big car, but not too big.  0-60 same as the R as well (4.9 secs)

Too many creases on the bonnet as if this feature was running out of fashion. I don't like its looks. It reminds me of a Volvo.

I am sure it is a good Indian car , but it somehow leaves me cold. Plus the Sat Nav system is still no good and way inferior to the BMW iDrive system or those in an Audi or Mercedes.

Now, the soon to be released Alfa Giulia is a real looker IMO. Our next car? Most possibly.
