Picked up a golf other day that has had a jbs04 hybrid fitted with a custom code stage 3 on. This was back in 08. Seen a recispt in the folder for turbo rebuild from cr turbos from a year or two later.
Now I think it has oil leak from turbo as looks like oil is on tip and ic pipe. Garage said tubo seals.
Was thinking of getting k300.. But could I just throw it straight on or would it need mapping again?
Or would it be better to get this one fixed?
Its not smoking and still boost strong. Just thinking ahead
