Hi. I just joined after buying a Mk6 GTI. My first car was a lowly 1.1 Mk1 and it is nice to be driving another Golf, albeit one with over 4 times the hps :^D
I would like to say thanks actually, as I used this forum as a resource when I was looking for my car. It was very helpful, particularly with regard to timing chain tensioners etc. Hopefully I can make a useful contribution at some point in the future.
