Polished bliss is the place to be for detailing products. I get everything from them unless I've ran out of something and need it quickly ill pop to my local Halfords. No I don't do it every week snow foam hand wash and wax yes. Wax will protect your paint work. I used guardX after the detail which lasts 2 years then a layor of carnuba wax for the wet look shine do now every time she's washed she's waxed with carnuba

My go to for detailing stuff is cleanyourcar or polishedbliss, and occasionally theultimatefinish.

I totally agree with you about wax.  I love carnauba wax, and also like hybrid waxes with a high carnauba content.  Regardless of whatever else goes on the paintwork - sealant, glaze etc, it's always topped off wax which is then layered over time.  Carnauba wax offers a depth and gloss that you just don't quite get with anything else.

Like you, snow foam is part of my normal wash regime and would never miss it out.  It's a bit of a divisive subject though, some don't think it offers any real benefit, but I disagree.

Waxing every week - that's devotion for you!

Blasting it with water before a hand wash won't remove the muck snow foam lifts and drags the muck off so when you go in with a hand wash there's less chance of putting in scratches and swirls. So I'd say it's worth using in my eyes

Agree.  Blasting it with a jet washer first off will only push the grit etc into the paintwork.

I gently moisten the car first then spray the snow foam on and let it do it's work while I prepare the buckets for the handwash.  You can see the muck the snow foam has shifted in the suds on the driveway.  System goes like clockwork.

See I prefer to snow foam the car when it's dry...wonder if I should try it whilst its wet.

I'd always give the car a quick spray first to moisten and loosen the dirt, then snow foam.  If using a jet washer, use it at a 45o angle (not 90o) and not too close to avoid damaging the paintwork.

I prefer the new easy to use sealants these days ... they save so much time and are so much more versatile than a wax covering the paint, black trim, windows, alloys etc.

My favourite for a long time has been Gtechniq C2v3, but I've recently tried the CarPro Hydro2 Lite and Gyeon WetCoat and been very impressed with the gloss they give, as well as the sheeting.

This is C2v3 sheeting (click on pic to play video)  :
