Hi all,

A few weeks ago I ordered a GTI PP DSG and got my stage 3 text and email on Friday (3rd Sept) The email said week commencing 5th October, but the website shows 28th September, not heard from the dealer yet, so not really sure which to believe, either way its moving along much faster than when I ordered my current GTI in April 2013.

I think a few other people on here had a similar confusion between the email and website showing different build weeks.

Hello Phil,

It seems to be a common problem with VW that the tracker and their emails have different build weeks on them.

Other members of the forum have doubled check with their dealers and it seems the online tracker has the correct date which is normally the earlier date; in your case it looks like you should be build week 40 (28th September).

I can confirm this as well Phil, mine was received on Friday and shows the same as yours.  Dealer has confirmed the earlier week.

Excellent, so it's going to be even sooner :-) the dealer originally said it was likely to be December time for delivery, but if it's being build at the end of this month, it might be with me in October :-)

Was a bit disappointed not to have received an update yesterday - build week confirmed for 07/09/15 - was hoping for some movement.

However just received update - progressed to 5a in transit/left the factory - whoo hoo - good luck if you're on this build week - especially if you've been waiting forever  :smiley:

Anyone want to buy a Leon - I better get the finger out
