Well, well, well!!  Just got stage 3 notification. 

Email says BW38 - confirmed for production week commencing 14/9/15, and tracker says BW37 - week commencing 7/9/15.  Typical VW consistency!!   

But who cares, it's finally confirmed!   I'll light my sparkler now! 

To give you an idea...my email said a week later than the tracker...the tracker was correct

Haha, I've been underwater plenty, but have refrained from chatting up the waiter since my beloved other half is never more than 5 feet away from me! 

Reason I'm hanging out on here (apart from sharing my much anticipated confirmation), is that for the last 24 hours, the Maldives are having their worst and heaviest non-stop rainfall for 18 years.  It's the wet season here, which normally means a nice thunderstorm for 5 mins of an evening.  But not this time!!!!  There's nearly as much water on the island as the sea surrounding it! 

Blimey, I'd better sell my Mk6 now!

Lol!  It did cross my mind that MH may have hacked my email and phone as a cruel practical joke!!!    But I think he's too nice a guy at heart to carry out such a such a dastardly deed!

Thanks Websta.    I've asked dealer to confirm which one, but my hunch is it's the tracker :-)

I've just had the pleasure of emailing my dealer to update him.    And to tell him I'll stop harassing him for a while.

My tracker says the 7th and my email says the 14th, which one is right 


Anddd, roughly how long is it from building to being at my dealer (newcastle). I'm getting too impatient now
