I called my dealer today and was told my build week is currently sitting at week 36, I ordered the car on the 8th July so pretty good turnaround so far!

Does anyone else find what the tracker shows with just your order number and what it shows when you log in with an account are different?

VWUK stated my car was BW30 confirmed.

When I log in it it says 'Your order has been confirmed for production week commencing 27/07/2015' i.e. BW31.

However when I just enter the order number it says 'Your car is currently being built. On average it takes 4 weeks from build for this model to reach your local Volkswagen Retailer.'

I really do think the tracker was a bad idea, it must cause lots of headaches not just for owners but also VW with regular complainers like me    :lipsrsealed:

It does say conflicting things, but when you consider how many cars are built you can understand why it has a few hiccups!!

I agree though, its probably not the best idea to do it unless its accurate

You are doing well, I ordered 16th July and am at an unconfirmed build week 42!

Give your dealer a call, mine was originally sitting at week 42 as well, but after putting pressure on the dealer I was told my build date was bumped up to week 36.

I got my stage 6 too!

So far:
24/4 - Placed my order
16/6 - Stage 3 Build week confirmed
16/7 - Stage 5b Shipping (missed out 4 and 5a)
26/7 - Stage 5c Transit
29/7 - Arrived in the UK


Still going to wait for 01/09 registration/collection.
