Hi guys,
I have an ABF in my rocco mk2. Emissions are off, not sure what is causing this. This has been the case since I fitted this 'unchecked' 'no hisotry' engine. I do not have any power losses, having it measured (with ECU chip fitted) it came out at 141 BHP which is not bad [I guess!] to the standard 150. It suffers from poor emissions though. Smells like sh!t if you are following the car and fails on the usual 'MOT'. Car is in Poland so its not an big issue as yet or until they stop you to test this. I have same engine fitted in my mk2 rocco in the UK and it passed the emissions test no problem.
For the affected one, I have changed the lambda sensor/probe and also the hmm forgot its name - adjusts the airflow when you press the gas pedal as according to ETKA/service manuals this was one of the things to get checked. I have access to OBD interface on this car and can measure values produced by the engine.
Any ideas what could affect poor emissions / fuel overdose, as I would suspect this can be the cause?
Its not burning oil as far as I can tell unless its being burned with no loss!
Cheers,
Tom
