big hold up
for a long time now

saving money for the paint as i thought i may aswell get the paintwork done first
so need to save 800quid up

getting inside and out done
and engine bay all in blue

then once thats done I can carry on, taking to long for my liking
getitng help for putting the engine in
i can fit the new steering rack in and few other bits n bobs

then everything else will be a secret once its running but I have a few bits
and pieces waiting at home ready to fit

radiator fans and crossmember and radiator suppor dont know if thats seperate though

been neglecting the car for a long time
not had time and been fed up of it

think i may possibly need a power steering pipe as one of them is
crossthreaded but i will have to check them first

once parts arrive i can crack on

hey all car is all up and running now
took nearly a year lol
had a blast in it yesterday efore it goes back in garage
save up for bodywork and my god!!!! its so dam fast

got few niggles to sort out like ome lights dont work
tidy up bit of wiring and fuel pump constantly spins when imobilizer goes off
because they only come on for second usually

im using the gti fan and radiator which is flipped sat different
but im going for the corrado fans and radiator when i get hold of them
as the engine feels so dam hot but the temp is quarter when fan kicks in which
keeps it cool but not cool enough for me ill get some pics later on

car is now in the bodyshop

getting full respray still in white apart from engine bay
and inside the car as inside is still good and i did engine bay before engine went in

i popped up otherday to see the car
and it seems brake fluid is all over the floor
so that has to be sorted once its all painted

pic to follow soon but will look nearly complete

this is picture fo the rear you can see tow eye is flushed out and the rear badge

i got round the window painted instead of buying a new sticker as they cost quite a bit

closer view of where tow eye used to be

had bonnet modified so engine does not rub as i aint fitted corrado rear mounts on the engine

here is a better view of the sprinter vent

the wing has been filled where aireal used to be and had mirrors colour coded

just pic of car with spoiler back on it

here is a pic of the engine its dirty and needs tidying up job for next week

and how it is at the moment dont want it getting dusty now
