I honestly don't know. The communication with my dealer is worse than carrier pigeon. I've not really been too concerned chasing it up though as my GTI is more than keeping me occupied, entertained and happy for the time being.

I was just wondering as the build weeks have been yo-yo-ing about a lot of late.  Can't remember when you ordered yours?

I do recall you saying previously your dealer was not very forthcoming on the communication front and sounds like there hasn't been much improvement on that score    It'll turn up when it turns up and in the meantime you've got the GTI to enjoy!

I ordered mine on May 29th. I've been given a delivery date of mid August. Based on these discussions looks like they may have mistaken August for December.

lol I ordered 31st march, 5th april I had moved to stage 2 with factory, today I received emails and texts saying your order has now moved to stage 2, WTF ..

Thinking of ordering a GTI via DTD with park assist and rear window tints. How long do you guys think it would take to build?

What car have you ordered?  Whatever it is August seems VERY optimistic.  That said, the lead-in times for a GTI/GTD were better than for the R.  I ordered an R on 28th Jan and as it stands, am looking at a late Sept delivery.   Thats with an unconfirmed build week and stage 2.  That could change either way - who knows!!

It's an LSG GTI with PP, DSG, DCC, sunroof, sidescan and all that plus the new freebies. Didn't really leave much off the options list.

My last GTI was a MKV DSG in White - loved that car so really looking forward to this one.

Gotta to love the MkV.  So good I had two - a manual, followed by a DSG.  No going back to manual now, lol.

Have you been given an unconfirmed build week (sorry if I've missed it somewhere along the line)?

Thanks Booth11 - I'm lucky, it's a company car although I'm throwing a fair bit towards it, sadly, right now I don't have a VW order number or know the dealership although I'm chasing the lease company to try and get hold so all I can get is an approx delivery date.

Sidescan - it's that blind spot monitoring, just couldn't think of the correct phrase

I'm just trying to decide on whether or not to get a VCDS cable. There are a few mods that might be useful for me....
