ED35 Confused.com

Hi All,

Its a while since I have posted here,

I left the UK in 2010 and took my MK4 GT TDI with me to New Zealand.

4 weeks ago I swapped it for an Edition 35 imported from Japan.

She is a stunner, everything that should be there is except the LED daytime running lights.

I have trawled the internet to see if the Japan models we sold without this feature but can find any info.

The lights are Bi-xenon as they should be, but with only standard 10mm wedge lamps for the side lights.

Does anyone know if this is how they should be or have the lights been replacement for some reason?

Perhaps the Japanese market doesn't require DRL's, so VW stuck with the early Bi-xenon headlights?
