18" wheels low profile tyres.and other.
« on: 30 May 2015, 21:28 »
Endured a puncture recently, had a new tyre fitted.next couple of days did couple of short trips,,all ok.today went for a 40 mile round journey on the w ay home the T P light came on!  Had no pump with me,drove to a nearby garage who checked and found all ok. Puzzled. Also wondered should I get a spare wheel/tyre,rather than the emergency wheel. Wonder if these low profiles are more vulnerable. Or fitting the normal wheel and tyre, and never mind the look.Do feel harsher ride on the existing.any opinions?

Did you reset the TP sensor after the new one was fitted?

Did you just get one tyre replaced or both on same axle?
