MY2016 Orders and delivery dates

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has placed an order with MY2016 options such as the car-net stuff and been given a delivery date/build week yet?

I've just ordered (luckily) a GTI PP as a company car so hopefully it'll reach a dealer this week and I'll get a date a few days after that. I'll share as soon as I find out...

MY2016 GTD ordered 1st May - got notification of BW25 on Friday, so as its going to b a September registration at least it will b here on time, as dealer quoted up to 19 weeks delivery.  As for exact spec who knows with all the VW UK fiasco about std Sat Nav, Keyless & Winter Pack which I don't think looks likely!

Hi,

I hope you get the new specs. Good luck with that. I'd be happy with an early September delivery. I held off as long as I could to see what VW did with car-net and what have you.

There doesn't appear to be much to it just now, however, I have to have the car for 4 years and you never know what might come along in that time or what VCDS might unearth on the MY2016 models  :smiley:.

Then again, the new model might lock the ECU down even more.... :sad:

Hi.

I ordered mine - gtd in pure white - 5 door, mid April and got confirmed on the 21st April - so not sure what mine is?

Either way it's at stage 2 (where I'm sure it will stay for a good while lol)

Dealer has said early August but I doubt it.....
