Has anyone installed puddle lights?
« on: 15 May 2015, 11:06 »
I am looking to get mirror puddle lights on my gti?
I was wondering if anyone has had these installed and could recommend anywhere to-do this?

Thanks

I've seen a guide somewhere. Might have been on the U.S. mK6 git forum. I'll see if I can find it.

You don't require folding mirrors. Here's a DIY http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?5753916-DIY-Mirror-puddle-light-installation

Always have a back up plan http://www.clarks.co.uk/p/26101342?cm_mmc=Google-_-Product-Listing-Ads-_-PLA-_-la&kpid=26101342&kpid=26101342_5_G&gclid=CK739e3ww8UCFVMatAodBDoAIg

The door warning light is a worthwhile upgrade. I have done them as I have them on my leon and found them very useful as there are no streetlights in my street. Im still sure how useful I would find the mirror puddle lights.

My Passat has them and they are a nice touch. With coming/leaving home lights, I'm not sure if they are really necessary, but they do shine some light down the sides of the car.
