Headlight protectors
« on: 10 May 2015, 10:05 »
Hi

Does anyone have a photo of a mk6 golf with the VW headlight protectors fitted please?

Have had issues in past with headlights being smashed due to stone chips etc and it was an expensive and annoying fix! Want to see if the mk6 headlight protectors look ok or do they totally ruin the look of the car?? :/

There's an old thread over on golfmk6.com where the owner had them on their car. Link below;

If you have standard headlights they're cheap to buy off ebay. The ones shown are either love them or hate them! It's a bit like new owners buying a car and stuffing seat covers on. They've never touched cloth in their own car before they sell it on  :smiley:
Audi S1 gone, awaiting 1.5tsi r-line, pan roof, led lights front and rear, active dash, 18" jurva alloys and a dealer fitted Oettinger roof spoiler in tornado red.

If the do have the tendency of touching cloth, maybe seat covers are a good idea.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
