I only got notifications of stages 3, 5a and 5c. Not that I'm complaining!

I'm not whining too much yet. Back in 2010 my Mk6 took the best part of a year. VW gave me a hire car at one point they were so worried about the depreciation on my p/x!

I spoke to the lease company again today and got a "no news, nothing to report, factory just taking its time due to order volume"

Just annoying when you see others ordering later having build weeks confirmed! I guess its luck of the draw/dealer allocations etc...

Its a company car so i am blessed to some extent, but the time between ordering and receiving is excruciating!!!!

totally in the same boat, its hard seeing other people get build dates and me checking the tracker everyday expecting some miracle to happen and than being disappointed lol. got no choice though.

Back in 2010 I ordered my 7R....or so it seems. 

Order accepted by VW on 24th Sept, BW4 anticipated, slight alteration to order (added Pretorias), BW changed to 8>16>14>18>16>17>21 then went back to BW18 after a major moan to VW UK and my order was expedited, built last Weds and shipped out. Got my 5a and 5b, currently waiting for my 5c.
