Rear braided lines?
« on: 21 April 2015, 19:44 »
Can you do this?

I'm struggling with getting my head around it - Solid lines comes from way within the car, over the rear beam etc and then pop out above the calipers. Attached to these are the rubber lines which then connect to the caliper...

Which parts do you replace with a braided line - The whole bloody thing or the short rubber pieces?

most kits come with just the small hoses that replace the rubber pipes. I also have the intermediate lines which replace the parts further towards the car but still not the whole lot.

You can get various kits, ie just front, just back, or front back and mid section. Can't think of the seller on ebay but they do a complete kit with front and back braided hoses and mid section copper piping in the mix, it's what I put in years ago.

Usually the braided ones are the short ones which go from the car to the axle.
