I would recommend giving carwow a shot as well.

https://www.carwow.co.uk/

I used this site the other day and secured a really good price a new GTI polo for my mum.

Annoyingly carwow and the like don't have the latest configurator options, so it's really a pain to get the right price...

Annoying yes. But once you have a good discounted price in from a carwow dealer, simply contact them through the website and get them to send you a formal quote with the correctly priced config options.

A 15% discount should be achievable.

Orangewheels are worth trying and Drive The Deal.
I used Orangewheels and my local dealer matched it.

I had quotes from Orangewheels, DTD and various Carwow dealers.  DTD were the best for discount off a new R at 12%, and that's who I went with.  But, they don't do px whereas many of the carwow dealers do, and as the 'cost to change' is the important thing that's something to consider.

Never heard of a discount to that degree - around 12.2 is the maximum in my experience. Are you factoring in the VWFS deposit contribution to get that?

A bit cheesed off with it all to be honest. Still torn between the two cars. And the 5-8 month wait makes me want to vomit to be honest :-P

I think I'll go buy a BMW.
