Checked the coding may be looking in the wrong place. I had this fault pop up when auto mode 01800 light switch implausible signal. Seems the boys over at the Skoda forum have the same problem. http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/74556-light-assist-retrofit/
Audi S1 gone, awaiting 1.5tsi r-line, pan roof, led lights front and rear, active dash, 18" jurva alloys and a dealer fitted Oettinger roof spoiler in tornado red.

I run 04 on Byte 18 with LED Rears + Bi-xenon with LED fronts.

With switch In Auto position:
Daylight: LED strips 100% only
Night: 50% LED strips and Xenons, LED rears

Sidelights: 50% LED strips + LED rears
Dipped beams: 50% LED strips and xenons + LED rears

Also, when indicator is activated, my LED strips switch off.

Hope that helps

I take it ave got some digging to do then to make my lights work on true auto. I'll trawl through the Skoda thread. My drls also remain at a 100% when the headlights are on. Hmmm  :nerd:

Thanks for the replies.
Looks like I'm going to try 04 to start with!

Do we know if the led can go off fully when xenon dipped beam on?

Cheers

Best look away now then......

I knew I shouldn't have taken a look at this thread!

I'm not sure I'd have the confidence / skill to pull my car apart like that, fair play to you.

Well the lights are in, I just need to get my brother to do the coding, hopefully tonight otherwise it'll have to wait until after the holiday!
Getting all sorts of warnings on the dash now, hopefully just down to coding.
Telling me to check pretty much every front end light!
No Bend lighting (AFS) check manual!

LED's don't work but didn't expect them too yet.
Xenons work on ignition but flicker when running- due to coding voltage I believe(?)

Shutter operate but don't light up when lights are off- so hoping there's an option for xenons for flashers.

Well, Just home from a bit of coding.... And we have a couple of problems!

Byte 18 coded to 04...
DRL's not coming on:
In auto- nothing
Sidelights- LED's on dimly.
Dipped beam- sidelights and xenons on and Rear LED's on as normal.
Fogs as normal.

NO FAULT CODE IN 09.

Headlight range, unable to code.
Selected it in installation list, but a message comes up to contact rosstech, can't remember what page that was on though.

4 Fault codes in 55.

Try 15 in Byte 18, that worked for me, an alternative is 43, it all depends on you model year, BCM and software version.
