Master Cylinder Brake Nipples

anyone know if the bleed nipples on the master cylinder are the same size as the calipers, somethings telling me there not, cant find suitable info on google, thanks

don't think so as I needed an 8mm socket to undo them, caliper nipples were 11mm..
