After letting my car idle for about 20 mins today, I looked at the temp gauge & found it running above the 90 where it usually sits, straight away I lifted the bonnet to see if the fans were cutting it & it turns out they're not.
I know they should cut in at low speed when the climatronic is switched on but it won't even do that.
I've bridged the fan switch connector and they cut in at both low & high speed which obviously rules out faulty fans/wiring issues & I'm wondering if it would be fan switch itself which is faulty however I don't see how the fan switch would control the air con/low speed setting?
1 other thing to mention is I recently had my thermostat replaced and the top rad hose is nice & hot but the bottom is lukewarm, I suppose this could be part of the problem but once again, surely the low speed fan setting would still work.
