It's as if some mischievous joker has hacked VW's configurator and is having a great old time of it!  It's not you is it Asker.    Can't wait to see what changes next on there

I've seen that happen with colours before. If there is a popular free choice they sometimes swap it with another, otherwise the market becomes saturated with cars all in the same colour!

Are there any colours available without charge now? If not, that might be illegal under EU laws -if it's physically impossible to buy a Golf (or other car) for the advertised basic RRP. VW UK do seem to be trying it on a hell of a lot lately with pricing. It's not as if they've been shy in raising prices during the recession. Now there's the economic upturn that many (not all) are starting to see, the rises seem to be coming thick and fast.

Non metallic black is free on Golf GTD though...

Yeah just normal black as no cost on GTD.  Both TR and Pure White showing as £260 option.  GTI config not working but R still showing TR and PW as no cost.

Hi all - I work in the leasing side of the motor trade and we get our data on all new cars directly from CAP which is starting to come in the Golf GTD over the past few days.  From what I can see, based on the data I have to hand which is usually correct, is that the 2016 Golf GTD is now available to order in metallic Deep Ocean Blue, TR is still a no cost option and the Nogaro alloys appear to have been dropped and replaced with 18" Durban Alloys wheels...

If that's true about the durban alloys being standard i am glad that i wont be getting a build week 22 car. They look good enough for a GTD in my opinion.

I wondered about the Durban alloys as they showed up on that list I posted a few pages back. Not convinced they'll have the same kerb appeal as the Nogoros.

Funny how the 2016 cars have suddenly gone from looking very appealing with free options, to now been expensive and cut back!

i was also thinking the nagaro alloys looked really good, the Durban ones are not that nice in my opinion, will be gutted if I don't get the nagaros
