This fell off the GTI today

What is it?

Its only a sump guard. It also collects oil if you dont remove it for when you drain your engine oil... 

The two horizontal holes go on the gearbox/sump bolts and the vertical hole has a special part to affix the guard to the engine. I wouldn't jack up your car to refit it until you have this part or some way to refit it securely.

Very rare item as most of them have fallen off!
