I wouldn't be wincing at a slightly higher key handover, but I wouldn't expect it or be disappointed if I didn't get it.Pulman have always been pretty low key with me, pick-up outside with all the used cars (but have prepared all cars to a good standard), but Scotswood Road branch of Benfield used to push the boat out a bit. I was invited to drive my car out of the showroom, which I did. Just for a second I wanted to scream out of there, smashing through the plate glass window (as in Roger Moore 007 in "the man with the golden gun" borrowing a new Hornet to give chase to Scaramanga's car/plane")....but then I thought about the damage that would cause. So I drove it like a nun, much to the relief of the saleswoman, no doubt.
My Scirocco was an outside job. My Mk7 GTI PP was inside the handover building with the "I'm Ready To Go Home" cover on it. My R was inside but the salesman refused to put the cover on it in case it left any marks on the paintwork. All were great handovers all by the same salesman and all cars were in tip top condition when I picked them up. No complaints or preferences from me.
That was quick Snooze just over a month and on stage 3, I ordered a month before you and I am still on stage 2. It's starting to annoy me in a way due to the lack of information but on the other hand I am getting so close to week 22 now. If I don't hear anything by the 4th may I will be taking a trip to the dealers to see if they can find out anymore info.
So my build week is next week. I've signed up for updates on the stealers website and I can't bloody wait for it to hit stage 4!
